Face the rain

Foggy premises of morning sleepiness
Carry heavy air of frustration.
By every eye blink its levels rise.
I breath in slow motion,
There is no way I can inhale quick enough.
I cling to the last rope hanging out of the tower of clarity,
But the slippery walls make me slide down,
And as helpless as a newly-hatched chick
I’m left to face the rain
And watch the gloomy sky
Until the air gets so heavy that I can’t breathe anymore
And give up.
